Chocolate Avo Mousse

1 avocados (perfectly ripe)

1 banana (perfectly or a little over ripe)

1/2 cup dark cocoa or raw cacao powder

2-3 Tbs runny organic honey

2 tsp coconut oil

1/2 tsp vanilla essence (optional – could also use peppermint)

1/8 – 1/4 cup oat or almond milk

Garnish – sliced banana (save a little from the one above), cocoa nibs or cocoa / cacao powder

Method

Food process all the ingredients together.

Add more liquid to adjust consistency; the mix should come out like a mousse, holding its form when served.

Serve immediately so that the avocado doesn’t oxidise and sour in flavour.
