Ingredients
2 TBS fine or medium cut oatmeal (available from any health food store)
1 TBS Chia seeds
Pinch of Himalayan salt
1 tsp Agave or Organic runny honey Dusting of ground cinnamon
Boiled water from the kettle
Rice or Almond milk (to serve)
1 Banana (or other fruit to serve)
Method
Combine oatmeal, Chia, salt, cinnamon in a bowel (the one you are going to eat out of) mix well. Pour over enough hot (just boiled) water to cover the mix and stir again
Leave to stand for 3mins, add more water if need as the ‘porridge’ soaks and softens (if you leave it standing for too long the Chia can set too much)
Add Honey and mis through to sweeten then slice banana over the top and dust again with cinnamon if you desire and then finish with a covering of almond milk.
